Olivia Lamasan

After taking up Communication Arts in Maryknoll College which is now named Miriam College, she started out as a production assistant in 1986. She got the attention of Director Pepe Marcos when she revised a script for him. Director Laurice Guillen helped her hone her writing skill further by asking her to write the script for the film Ipagpatawad Mo (1991).

As a director, she started out in television when Charo Santos-Concio, host for the show Maalaala Mo Kaya, decided to hone her own pool of directors in 1991.
